Diving with Monique was an amazing experience! I was a bit scared beforehand, that’s why I booked the private course. Monique explained everything really well. Showed us what to do and helped us when needed. My (13 year old) son and I could take the time we (mostly I) needed. Monique checked all the time how we were doing and wrote underwater the names of interesting fish. I felt quite safe with her around. And after a little while I wasn’t scared any longer. If you want to go diving, I cannot recommend this diving school enough!
We had an amazing first dive experience thanks to Angelique. She is professional, very kind and relaxed. She explained everything we needed to now about our first dive and the use of the equipment. I felt very safe and comfortable under water because of Angelique. The equipments are very good and everything worked really well. The dive was beautiful and we saw a lot of different fish. I would definitely recommend you going to this diving school if you want to dive with good and professional instructors with reliable equipment. We will come back for sure!
Monique and all other staff are totally up for a magnificent dive experience and great hospitality. My 10 year old kid and I did multiple dives at Tugboat beach and Caracas bay. Monique was ultimately professional and more than great with kids. She gave him and myself a true underwater experience. Saw seahorses, bur fish, trompet fish, many species of Angel fish, beautiful corals and many other species. All in all we highly recommend duikcentrum van de Ven.
My daughter (17) and I (53) both LOVED this. I have always wanted to scuba dive and just never did. I signed us up for this and we have a great memory for the rest of our lives. We had Monique as our instructor and she was perfect. She was patient and knowledgeable and really took her time showing us everything we needed to know. We learned about the gear needed, how to assemble it all and how it functions. Then we were in the water in no time. We spent some time at the beach in shallow water getting used to the breathing, and before you know it we were exploring a sunken ship. Neither of us had ever done Scuba before. I would recommend this to everyone (if you can swim). And definitely go to this place- there are many. They really make it fun, and only go out in small groups. It was just my daughter and I and the instructor. I could go on and on, but do yourself a favor and book with Duikcentrum- you will be so happy you did. And then cross this off the bucket list. Thanks again Monique, you have a life long customer when we get back to Curacao!

Very nice and professional Scuba-diving school with a family feeling what gives you directly a warm welcome. Dived with Gerard and student for refresh dive; clear and good explanation. Personal approach! that is very nice to be comfortable (not scuba-dived since 2009, refresh dive was done in a very nice environment; Also equipment was modern and in good shape! It went well and decided to dive again! a view days later; now with Monique (mother), also very good and relaxed atmosphere. I recommend to dive with van de Ven. because explanation clear and places too dive are well known (nice quit places with lot's of fish, turtles etc.!!) Also pictures and movies were taken and send to me. Just Go For it
