A must while visiting Curaçao.

We had a wonderful time on this tour, I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Curacao. She took us to some if the most beautiful spots on the island, we saw a cave, turtle beach and the most beautiful beach on the island. The opportunity to swim amongst the turtles was absolutely amazing and a once in a lifetime opportunity, we have discussed the possibility of coming back just to do it again. Dushi (guide) was amazing!!! She was very knowledgeable and told us all about the island’s history, animals, vegetation, etc. while we drove around the island. We did have a car issue on the way back to port and I was a little nervous, but she immediately found us a ride back to port as soon as we stopped the car. We had a wonderful time, by far our best tour of all the stops on our cruise.
Fabulous Nature Lovers Tour

Fantastic tour of Curacao with Jaentree of Fascinating Taxi & Tours. We pre-booked through Viator for this shore excursion for our cruise port stop. It was our first time to the island and we had a long port stop, so we were thrilled to be able to take the 5 hour Nature Lovers Tour to see the nature side of Curacao, which also left us plenty of time to explore the city of Willemstad on our own.
We were warmly greeted on the pier and headed out for the tour with 4 other people with Jaentree. She gave us so much interesting information about the city, island, history, animals and all the various varieties of plants. She answered any questions we had also. We were offered water and fruit drinks along the way.
Our first stop was well worth the drive near the far northwest end of the island at Shete Boka National Park. Because we left promptly from the port with our small group we had it all to ourselves for awhile before the full size tour buses arrived. Beautiful cliffs with crashing water. Jaentree explained that normally the surf and waves would be much stronger, but a nearby tropical storm was pulling the energy away from the island, which also explained the lack of wind and the mild seas we experienced while cruising the region. We also got to go in the sea cave to see the water crashing, while the guide knew the best spot for photos and made sure to take one of us.
Onward to Playa Piskado to snorkel with turtles and beautiful tropical fish. You need to have your own snorkel gear. Not sure if they rent it at this small beach. We used water shoes as it is very rocky to enter. You can walk the wooden pier (a few planks were missing from recent storms) to see a few turtles from there if you don't want to go in the water. On this day, mostly the smaller young turtles were near the pier where a fisherman calls them in and feeds them. There were so cute. I also snorkeled further out and saw some of the large adult turtles, a good variety of tropical fish and a couple of eels. We were here about 50 minutes.
They have some pay toilets and food truck available.
Next up was the beautiful Kenepa beach, for a little more relaxing beach time (about 80 minutes here). There is a fruit smoothie snack bar in the parking lot. The overlook offers beautiful views and you walk down some stairs to reach the beach area. You can rent chairs, but we just used our towels on the sand as we spent most of the time in the water. I was able to see some pretty fish snorkeling by the rocks all the way to the left facing the water (possibly all the way to the right too as I saw snorkelers over there also). It isn't a large beach, but does have some pretty sand and gorgeous aqua water. There is a rustic snack bar (we had a refreshing beer for $4 USD) and pay toilets available.
Returning back towards Willemstad we were ready for the last exciting highlight of the tour - the wild flamingos. The first sanctuary spot didn't currently have any in the water, but Jaentree said she knew of another spot and sure enough, we were treated to a sighting of these magnificent, pink (I think more coral colored) birds. There were about 50 in the distance, but I was able to zoom in on them for a photo. It was my first time seeing them in the wild and it was spectacular!
Soon we were back at the cruise port, thanking Jaentree for a fabulous tour of her beautiful home island. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Great tour! Gaentree was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. Swam with turtles and saw some amazing beaches. Even stopped to see some flamingos on the way back. This tour checked a lot of "must do when in Curaçao" boxes. Highly recommended.
