About this activity

The west side of the island is known for its nature, history and incredible beaches! Along the way our knowledgeable tour guide will tell you all about our Island’s rich history. Our first stop will be at National Park Shete Boka. We’ll stay here for 45 minutes where you can walk around and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the north shore. We then head to Playa Piskado for a once-in-a-lifetime snorkel experience with sea turtles in their natural habitat. The next stop is at the breathtaking Kenepa Beach, which is one of the most popular and photographed beaches on the Island. And last, but definitely not least, we will stop at Cas Abao beach. Voted in the Top 21 Best beaches in the world by National Geographic, Cas Abao is a must see! During this stop you can grab a snack at the beach bar, swim, snorkel or just relax on the beach. On our way back to town, we drive by the salt lake at St. Willibrordus to spot the Flamingos.

Shete Boka National Park
45 min - Our first stop will be at National Park Shete Boka. We’ll stay here for 45 minutes while you can walk around and enjoy the spectacular scenery. You have the option to visit one of the 7 caves or just watch large, unpredictable waves crush against the rocky North coast.

Kleine Knip
1 hr - The next stop is at Kenepa Beach, which is one of the most popular and beautiful beaches on the Island. Here you have the opportunity to take some beautiful pictures and enjoy the breathtaking view or dive into the crystal blue water.

Flamingo Sanctuary Sint Willibrordus
10 min - On our way back to town, we drive by the Salt Lake at St. Willibrodus to see the Flamingo's in their natural habitat.

Cas Abao Beach
1 hr 30 min - Voted in the top 21 best beaches in the world by National Geographic, Cas Abao beach is a must see! During this stop you can swim, snorkel and relax while taking in the beautiful scenery.

Beautiful beaches

We had a very pleasant day with our tour guide. He gave us a lot of interesting information about the island and places we passed by. The beaches we visited were very beautiful and we saw a lot of fish while snorkelling. We would definitely book this tour again.

Fantastic western beaches tour!

We had such a good experience with Irie Tours and our guide, Miguel! The western beaches were unbelievably beautiful. Beer and water is included, and there is a stop where you can get lunch, but it’s not until 2-3pm. Also good to know is that the closer your pick up location is to Jan Thiel, the longer you ride the bus. We were one of the first stops at 7:45am and were riding the bus for 2.5 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Wish we would have known to drive to one of the last hotel stops and saved 1.5 hours of drive time! But the tour was so worth it and was easy to do with our three young kids (6,4,2).

Beach hopping

It was an incredible tour, a wonderful experience swimming with the turtles and in those beautiful turquoise waters. The tour guide (Miguel) was wonderful. Very helpful.
