This 80ft long, 35ft wide catamaran is the newest addition to the BlueFinn Charters fleet! Catamaran BlueFinn2 is extra wide, for extra stability on the water and has enough space to sit, walk around and enjoy the views.

BlueFinn2 goes to the uninhabited island of Klein Curacao 5 times a week. From afar you can see this bounty sun-drenched gem in the middle of the Caribbean Sea by its old iconic pink lighthouse. Upon arrival at Klein Curacao, the crystal-clear water is calm, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. When you go into the water, you will spot many colorful fish and turtles all around you!

When you get ashore, explore the island while blissfully sunbathing along the way. The distance from the beach to the lighthouse, shipwrecks and ruins is not too far for a walk. At noon, the crew is ready to serve you up an extensive BBQ buffet and you can enjoy drinks from our premium open bar.

Around 2:30 pm we hoist our sail and on the wings of the wind head back to the mainland.

3 salads (homemade pasta pesto salad, kidney bean salad, couscous salad), 3 kinds of meat from the grill (ribs, chicken, steak), bread and homemade peanut sauce. (subject to change if not in stock)

We had a fantastic day, despite the windy weather and sometimes heavy rain! Very professional, friendly and fun crew. BBQ lunch buffet was awasome, many restaurants do not offer that quality of food! The open bar service was smooth and, although many drinks were server, never got out of hand. I even contemplated to take the trip again. Thank you for this excellent day!

Full day cruise was a blast! Food was delicious and the playlist was fire. Tony, especially, had a great time (if you know, you know)! Thanks again. Also, we’d love to know if that playlist is on Spotify? Tremendous.

Enjoyable cruise but underwhelming snorkeling

Parts of this trip were very good. The ride to Klein Curaçao was smooth. The crew was friendly and attentive, and the barbecue lunch provided was delicious. Klein Curaçao was beautiful, and it was very easy to walk around the island to visit the old lighthouse and shipwreck. While the beach was lovely, the snorkeling was very disappointing. There was very little reef near the boat anchorage, with only a few heads. We swam around quite a bit, but only saw a few fish, and an octopus. Klein Curaçao was touted as a top snorkeling destination, which simply was not the case. The map of the island indicated a dive spot at the southeastern tip of the island, we might have had a better experience had we walked to the end of the beach and explored the water there. It would have been nice to get some communication or recommendations from the boat crew on best snorkeling spot.
The trip description in TripAdvisor was not completely accurate. The booking stated departure time at 8am and to arrive 15 minutes early. The boat didn’t arrive at the dock until 815 and left at 830. There was no signage or anyone there to greet us. We sat around for 30 minutes unsure if we were in the right spot. Also, the trip description indicated the we would sail for a portion of the trip, but they never raised the sails.
Overall, it was a fun trip and worth the cost, but some updates to the trip description are needed to avoid setting unrealistic expectations.
