About this activity

We from Awa Salu Kiteboarding Curacao, offer you premium, high quality kite lessons. We are looking out for you with a high focus on technique and safety. We are located at the A-spot for kiteboarding on the mainland of Curaçao at the St. Joris bay. Before and after your lessons you can get the tips and watch the tricks of the local kiteboarder in their habitat. The water is both shallow and deep, for practicing all aspects of kiteboarding. For the more advanced courses we practice walking the kite and launching and landing the kite on land. Wondering if kiteboarding is for you? Learning to kiteboard is like learning to drive a car. A kid could learn it. After a couple of lessons, you will get the hang of it and go as slow or fast, high or low as you want to go.

AMAZING

Amazing Experience. Quality Gear and a amazing spot. The progression i made was excellent. I had some experience but we managed to improve all that. Kim is an excellent teacher who looks into your current skillset and improves that with devotion and i must say a lot of humor. The wholeout experience was a blast. The next time i visit Curaçao i wont hesitate to book a lesson again.

Kitesurfing curaçao!

During my internship in the local hospital i took kitesurf lessons with Kim at Awasalu. I had little kitesurf experience at first but Kim managed to get me on the board in a few lessons. Also she had a good eye for what specific struggles i had and had personalized tips and tricks! Every lesson got the full focus but for sure also with lot’s of fun! I can really recommend this kiteschool. Thanks Kim!!

Had lot of fun while learning to kitesurf with the right coaching from Awa Salu Kiteboarding School.

Had a blast with Awa Salu Kiteboarding. Thanks to right coaching from Kim I was able to make lot of runs and with helpful tips I was able to experience the rush of going up and down the bay. After various attempts,Kim helped to get beyond the waterstart! It was fun and if you ever want to get better at kitesurfing, book a session with Awa Salu!!
